Quotes and Prices for Godbee Charters

How much will my charter bus service cost?

In order to give you an accurate estimate you will need to call 706-761-8800 with your specific trip details. There are several factors that we take into consideration when providing a quote, such as time of year, amenities, and distance.

How do I get a quote?

You can get a quote for your Godbee Charters by calling us at 706-761-8800.  Before you call, we will need your itinerary, headcount, amenity preferences (if any), and number of buses you might need to calculate an accurate quote.

What does a charter bus quote include?

Your quote will include:

    • The hourly or daily cost of your trip (pricing structure is determined when you call for your quote)
    • The services of a professional bus driver
    • Full-coverage insurance
    • Fuel
    • Processing fees

Your quote will not include:

    • Overnight accommodations for your bus driver (required if your trip spans multiple days)
    • Parking fees
    • Road tolls
    • Gratuity (recommended at a 5-10% rate for your bus driver)

When will my payment be due?

When you make your reservation, you’ll need to pay a deposit of 10% of the total cost.

14 days before your trip begins, the remainder of your balance will be due.

How can I pay?

We accept payment via check, credit card, or wire/ACH.

Charter Bus Models and Amenities

What amenities can I get on my bus?

All buses will have air conditioning, reclining seats, and some overhead storage areas to help minimize clutter.

You can also request additional amenities like WiFi, power outlets, and PA systems when you call to book your bus.

Charter Bus Drivers

I have a CDL, so can I drive my own bus?

Unfortunately, we do not permit customers to drive their own buses. Each Godbee Charters bus comes with a professional and experienced driver to ensure your group’s safety.

Does each bus come with a driver?

Yes, each charter bus will be operated by a professional bus driver. The cost of a bus driver is already included in your quote.

Should I tip my bus driver?

Tipping is always at your discretion, but we do recommend tipping your driver 5-10% of the total cost of your charter to thank them for a job well done.

How often do drivers need to stop for breaks?

Regular pit stops on the road will be arranged between you and your driver en route.

Drivers must have at least an 8-hour break after driving for 10 consecutive hours or remaining on duty for 15 consecutive hours, so we recommend planning stops accordingly if you’re traveling a particularly long distance.

Do I need to provide food for my bus driver?

No. Drivers will cover their own food and drinks during your trip.

Do I need to provide lodging for my bus driver?

Yes. If your trip spans multiple days, you’ll need to make sure that you’ve arranged for a hotel room for your driver so that they can rest up and drive safely.

Can my driver provide additional meet-and-greet services?

Yes, but your reservation specialist will need to make extra arrangements. Just make sure you let us know that this is something you’d like to arrange when you call to book!

Traveling with Godbee Charters

Where can a Godbee Charters bus take me?

While the providers we work with mainly operate in the CSRA and the Southeastern part of the US, we can help you book transportation to take you out of state if you’re planning a long road trip. If it’s in the contiguous United States, we can help get you there.

Who can charter a bus?

Sports teams heading to a tournament, businesses hosting a corporate conference, schools planning a field trip, brides- and grooms-to-be planning wedding pickups and dropoffs, friends planning a night out, and many more! If you have a group in need of transportation, we’ve got you.

Can we drink and eat on our bus?

Yes—just let your reservation specialist know that you’d like to bring food and drink on the bus.

If a mess is left behind, you may be subject to an additional cleaning charge.

Where can our charter bus park?

Charter bus parking availability will vary greatly depending on where you’re going. We recommend looking for large, open-surface lots with lots of space or parallel street parking.

Your bus driver can also drop you off at a venue, wait at your hotel, and return to pick you up when you’re ready.

If you’re unsure, we always recommend calling a venue before your trip to ask where the best bus parking area is. We are not responsible for finding bus parking.

Can I change my itinerary after I’ve booked a charter bus?

We’ll always work to accommodate changes, but it will become more difficult to edit your itinerary as your trip gets closer. If you need to make a change, please call your reservation specialist as soon as possible.

What if I need to cancel my trip?

If you cancel more than 14 days before your start date, you won’t need to pay for your full balance; however, we won’t be able to return your 10% deposit.

If you cancel fewer than 14 days before your start date, we won’t be able to provide a refund for your trip, and you will still be responsible for paying in full.
